Please be advised that a core router upgrade will take place on Tuesday morning, March 01, 2011 between 6:00 and 7:00 am. A standby supervisor module will be enabled in the FAU LAN router. This core upgrade is not expected to cause any downtime. Resolved – Network down affecting all campuses

Network outage 2/28/2011 from 09:12 – 09:17.
This affected all network segments including the voice over IP network segments.  We are investigating the root cause of the LAN router crash. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Completed – FAU Self-Service and Banner Systems Unavailable this Saturday, 2/26

The FAU Self-Service and Banner systems will be unavailable on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as Banner undergoes an Oracle database upgrade. This will affect the following services:

* Banner Forms (INB) access * FAU Self-Service (including registration, transcripts, grades and payments)

Resolved – Network Down in Library Due to Power Outage

There is a power outage in the Boca Campus Library. Network is down in the east side of the building due to this power issue. Physical Plant has been notified. We will make sure the network comes back online once power is restored.

Resolved – NWRDC POWER OUTAGE

Network connectivity has been lost to NWRDC. Their phones also appears to be down.  Network is looking into the issue.

10:40 AM – Terrie, from NWRDC, called they had power outage…at least an hour to come back up.

Resolved – Problem getting to Self-Service from MyFAU

Clicking the Self-Service in MyFAU links intermittently displays the MyFAU login page instead of taking the user to Self-Service.

It appears to be a problem with one of the portals and we are working on resolution.

Resolved – Network Outage Library Bldg 3 East side

There is a network outage in the east side of the library building 3 due to a power failure in the building. Engineering and Utilities are working to resolve the issue.

Completed – IRM System Maintenance – 2/24/2011 from 3:00am to 7:00am

IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health check on Thursday, 02/24/2011 from 3:00am to 7:00am during IRM maintenance window.

The following services will be unavailable between 6:00am and 7:00am: Banner, Self-Service, Internet Native Banner, Travel, EFC, Workflow, Appworx, Harvest, Network registration, Resource25, Travel (WOLF), Signature System, Report Caster, ODS, Webfocus, FAU SUDS (IEA), Identity Manager, Banner FTP
