IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 01/26/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Affected Services: Talisma
Affected Systems: taldb01, talapp01, talapp02 Description of Maintenance: talapp01 and talapp02 will be migrated to virtual machines. Additionally Windows Service Pack updates, Microsoft Office Updates, Java updates, and other security patches will be applied.
User impact: Talisma will be offline during this period
When: 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM
Affected Services: Network Registration Admin Console
Affected Systems: talon.fau.edu
Description of Maintenance: Network Registration’s admin console will be upgraded to support the assigning of static ip addresses.
User impact: None expected
When: 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM
Affected Services: talon.fau.edu
Affected Systems: talon0.fau.edu, talon1.fau.edu, talonx1.fau.edu, talonx2.fau.edu
Description of Maintenance: Talon.fau.edu’s backend servers will be converted from Solaris to Linux.
