Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 03/01/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
What: Netapp OS upgrade
When: 3:30am-6:30am
Potentially affected systems: Blackboard, HyperV clusters (Xitrax, VPN auth, DNS, VirtualApps, Broadcast, DHCP, Graduate Application, Identity Manager, PhoneBill, Network Registration, Lists, SharePoint, Talisma, Xitracs)
Description of Maintenance: The OnTap OS is being upgraded from 8.0.2 to 8.0.2P4. A firmware update to fix battery charging is also being applied.
User impact: None is expected because of the failover capabilities of the storage controllers
What: Server reboots
When: 3am-4am
Affected systems: bbloraclealt, fausftp, fausftp2, echoftp, banoradev (new/Linux), bannerprd (new/Linux)
Description of Maintenance: The servers are rebooting for kernel updates.
