The power issue in building 31 (Student Union) has been resolved. Power and network has been restored to building 31 (Student Union) and building 31D (Continuing Education Hall).

Power Outage causing Network outage
There is a planned power outage of building 31 (Student Union) going on right now. The outage is expected to last 3 or 4 hours according to Physical Plant. The network equipment is offline in the following buildings due to this power outage.
Bldg 31 – Student Union
Bldg 31D – Continuing Education Hall
Once the power is back on, Networking will make sure the network equipment comes back online.

IRM Systems Maintenance, Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM
IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/02/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
When: 5:00 am – 7:00 AM
Affected Service: Blackboard
Affected Servers: Bba1-6, bbm1, bbc1, bbc2
Description of Maintenance: We will be applying a security patch to the black board servers.
User Impact: Blackboard will be unavailable during this time
When: 6:00 am to 7:00am
Affected Services: Tandberg Systems
Affected Systems: tms.fau.edu
Description of Maintenance: tms2.fau.edu (131.91.224.119) is to be added back into rotation for tms.fau.edu on BigIP
User impact: None Expected
When: 6:00 am to 7:00am
Affected Services: Banner System
Affected Systems: FAUP.fau.edu
Description of Maintenance: FAUP.fau.edu data base configuration is to be modified in order to improve oracle stream performance.
