Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06/28/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Affected systems: bba3, bba4, bba5, bbc1, bbc2, madcat1p
Description: Scientific Linux 6.2 updates will be applied to these systems.

When: 3:00-5:00 AM
Affected services: Blackboard, Identity Manager, DHCP, NetReg, PhoneBill, CAS
Affected systems: talonx1, bbm1, bba2, bba6, bbx1, bbx2, lintalon0, idm2, dhcpboc0
Description: Scientific Linux 6.2 updates will be applied to these systems

SafeAssign service will be unavailable on Friday June 29, 2012 from 5:00 PM US Eastern (GMT-5) to 9:00 PM US Eastern. SafeAssign is being taken offline for a maintenance upgrade.

End-users will not be able to submit papers through SafeAssign during the planned downtime and will receive an error message if they attempt to do so. SafeAssign Originality Reports will not be available to Instructors or Students during the planned downtime, nor will Instructors be able to Access SafeAssign DirectSubmit. Please make end-users aware of these limitations. Use of SafeAssign can continue as normal after the planned downtime is complete.
