OIT Systems Maintenance, Thursday, Feb 13 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/13/2014 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.  In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

When: 7:00AM – 8:30AM
Affected services: DHCP services
Affected systems: TOW DC (domain controllers), DHCP servers
Description of maintenance: Physically move servers from Fort Lauderdale Askew Tower 834A to HEC D802.
User impact: Clients who attempt to receive a new lease during the move will not receive a lease until DHCP services are running. Authentication should fall to other domain controllers in Davie

When: 5:30AM – 6:30AM
Affected services: Single Signon
Affected systems: sso.fau.edu
Description of maintenance: The https certificate for single signon is being renewed.
User impact: No downtime expected.

When: 5:00AM – 6:00AM
Affected services: IRMFTP
Affected systems: irmftp.fau.edu
Description of maintenance: The irm file transfer (FTP) server is being converted to a virtual entity.  Its operating system will also change to linux from solaris.
User impact: None expected.
