We are experiencing an issue with the “fau” wireless network on the Davie campus. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

A faulty 48 port blade was replaced on the Davie campus. All devices are now working properly.

We are currently experiencing an “Account in Lockdown” error message in OU Campus so all sites are temporarily unavailable.
The vendor is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it.
We will update this post as soon as we have more information.
UPDATE: The vendor informed us that this outage was due to some preliminary maintenance for preparing the OU Campus platform to be upgraded to v10.
UPDATE: This issue has been officially resolved; all OmniUpdate services have been restored.
Blackboard maintenance has completed and all blackboard services are functioning.
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 09/25/2014 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of maintenance: OIT will be increasing the storage capacity to the systems which provide directory services to several applications.

Description of maintenance: OIT will expand the hard drive for the Talisma app server.
User impact: Talisma client will not be available for 5-10 minutes and any users connected will be disconnected.

On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, between 6:00 am and 6:30 am, the networking department will upgrade the data switch on the second floor in building 22 (Computer Center Building) on the Boca Raton campus. This upgrade will cause an interruption to the FAU network and telephone system on the second floor in building 22. If you experience difficulties after the times outlined above, please contact the networking department.

Description of maintenance: A new Undergraduate Admissions Application will be going live on Thursday, Sept 18th. The existing Undergraduate Application (ugapp.fau.edu) will remain active but will not allow creation of new accounts/applicants. New applicants will be directed to apply.fau.edu. Applicants with existing applications in the older system will be allowed to log in and complete their application.
User impact: No downtime is expected
