OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Oct 30 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

** Update 8:30AM, The Jupiter domain controller maintenance is still ongoing. All services should be available, however logins may be slower for users on the Jupiter campus. We apologize for this inconvenience.

 

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 10/30/2014 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

When: 3:00AM – 6:00AM
Affected services: Content Editor, Grading, Date Management, Partner Cloud, Content Editor, Grading, Date Management, Partner Cloud ​
Affected systems: ​Blackboard
Description of maintenance: OIT will be updating some of the Building Blocks: ​Content Editor, Grading, Date Management, Partner Cloud, Content Editor, Grading, Date Management, Partner Cloud
User impact: Tools may be unavailable during the update

When: 3:00AM – 6:00AM
Affected services: Any services running out of the following SQL clusters may expereicne a blip in connectivity.​
Affected systems: ​boc22mssqlfau, boc22mssqloit, boc22mssqlsp, boc22mssqllync​
Description of maintenance: OIT will be applying SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2 to clusters.​
User impact: No downtime is expected but applications may experence disconnects while clusters failover.

Affected services: AD authentication on Jupiter campus
Affected systems: ​ jupdcfau01, jupdcirm01​
Description of maintenance: OIT is updating the systems servicing user and computer account authentication for the Jupiter campus.
User impact: Logins on the Jupiter campus may be slower during the window.
