They can serve to supplement a lesson (i.e. short demos or explanations) or provide an entire hour-long lecture &#8211; including content from a PowerPoint presentation, a PDF document, or a webcam feed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To make this possible in Canvas, we\u2019ve integrated Sonic Foundry\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">My Mediasite<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for you to use in your courses. The following video walks you through enabling <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">My Mediasite<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in your Canvas Dashboard; installing and registering the MediaSite Desktop Recorder; creating a basic video presentation; editing that presentation; and finally, incorporating that presentation into a page in a canvas course. With this, you\u2019ll learn everything you need to start creating multimedia presentations for your students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This video is a bit longer than some of the other Quick-Tip videos.
