{"id":11003,"date":"2025-09-16T12:11:32","date_gmt":"2025-09-16T16:11:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.fau.edu\/oit\/?p=11003"},"modified":"2025-09-16T12:12:00","modified_gmt":"2025-09-16T16:12:00","slug":"microsoft-entra-mfa-microsoft-authenticator-replacing-duo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.fau.edu\/oit\/2025\/09\/microsoft-entra-mfa-microsoft-authenticator-replacing-duo\/","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft Entra MFA \/ Microsoft Authenticator replacing Duo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Starting <strong>Today, September 16th<\/strong>, Florida Atlantic University will begin transitioning Employees from <strong>DUO to Microsoft Entra MFA<\/strong>&nbsp;for secure login to <strong>Microsoft<\/strong> applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What\u2019s Happening:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Employees will begin seeing a 4P prompt to setup the <strong>Microsoft Authenticator<\/strong> when signing into FAU Services.<\/li><li>After enrolling, Entra MFA will be activated for all Microsoft apps (Outlook, Teams, Office 365, etc.).
