Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 03\/08\/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.\u00a0 In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:<\/p>\n
When: 3:00 \u2013 4:00am
\nWhat: fausftp reboot for patches
\nPotentially affected systems: banner production or banner test scripts and all other systems that are scripted to use the fausftp system for file transfers
\nDescription of Maintenance: The fausftp server is being rebooted for patches.
\nUser impact: Users who have automated scripts running to upload or download files during the reboot time may find that their files may not have transferred.<\/p>\n
When: 3:00am – 6:00am
\nAffected services:\u00a0 Talisma
\nAffected systems:\u00a0 taldb,talapp01, talapp02
\nDescription:\u00a0 we will be applying hot fix 16 that was released by the vendor
\nUser impact:\u00a0 talisman will not be accessible during down tine but we expect no impact on users.<\/p>\n
When: 3:00 AM \u2013 6:00 AM
\nAffected Services: Mailing lists, Password Sync, PhoneBill, Network Registration Affected Systems: lintalon0, lists, idm1, idmgatewayp
\nDescription of Maintenance: These virtual machines will be shut down so a clone of each may be created for provisioning at NWRDC.
\nUser impact: lists and idm will be offline during the maintenance. Mail sent to lists during its downtime should be queued and retried by the mail server. PhoneBill and Network Registration are expected to remain online.<\/p>\n
When: 3:00 AM \u2013 3:30 AM
\nAffected Services: OwlApps.fau.edu
\nDescription of Maintenance: Owlapp\u2019s automatic push to banner functionality will be disabled in preparation for the Banner Migration over the weekend.
