{"id":1412,"date":"2012-06-20T10:50:21","date_gmt":"2012-06-20T14:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.fau.edu\/irm\/?p=2016"},"modified":"2012-06-20T10:57:31","modified_gmt":"2012-06-20T14:57:31","slug":"oit-systems-maintenance-thursday-june-21-2012-from-300am-to-700am","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.fau.edu\/oit\/2012\/06\/oit-systems-maintenance-thursday-june-21-2012-from-300am-to-700am\/","title":{"rendered":"OIT Systems Maintenance, Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06\/21\/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.\u00a0 In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:<\/p>\n<p>When: 5:00-7:00 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: Banner INB and SSB<br \/>\nAffected systems: Banner<br \/>\nDescription of maintenance: DBA group will migrate Banner INB and SSB Web Servers from OAS 10g to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g<br \/>\nUser impact: Banner INB and SSB will be unavailable between 5:00AM and 7:00AM.<\/p>\n<p>When: 3:00-5:00 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: Blackboard, Identity Manager, DHCP, NetReg, PhoneBill, CAS<br \/>\nAffected systems: talonx1, bbm1, bba2, bba6, bbx1, bbx2, lintalon0, idm2, dhcpboc0<br \/>\nDescription: Scientific Linux 6.2 updates will be applied to these systems.<\/p>\n<p>When: 5:30-6:00 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: SSO, eCollege, Parature Logins<br \/>\nAffected systems: lintalon0.fau.edu, lintalon1.fau.edu, sso.fau.edu<br \/>\nDescription: Central Authentication service will be updated to correct two errors detected by clients. The first problem affects users who previously visited MyFAU and the second prevents web browsers from caching style sheets.<br \/>\nUser Impact: CAS will be offline for 10 to 15 minutes.
