Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 09\/12\/2013 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM<\/strong> during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:<\/p>\n

When: 3:00AM – 5:00AM
\nAffected services: Talisma, SharePoint, Graduate application, fsaAtlas, SCAC, vCenter, Xitracs, PrivateEye, SCOM, SCVMM, College of Education sites, Owlcard, Housing sites, EMS, TicketMaster sites, ePrint<\/strong>
\nAffected systems: sqlnode01, sqlnode02, eprint, scvmm, scom, mssql1, mssql2, taldb01, archticsdb01, archticshv001
\nDescription of maintenance: We are relocating several physical systems in the datacenter. The following services will be interrupted for a short period of time during the window: Talisma, SharePoint, Graduate application, fsaAtlas, SCAC, vCenter, Xitracs, PrivateEye, College of Education sites, Owlcard, Housing sites, EMS, TicketMaster sites, ePrint
\nUser impact: The services listed above will be unavailable for approximately 5-10 minutes during the maintenance window<\/p>\n

\nDescription of maintenance: We are modifying the network connection on the Cisco UCS to allow for greater bandwidth.
\nUser impact: We do not expect any end-user impact however the services and systems listed above could be affected momentarily if an issue is encountered.<\/p>\n

\nAffected Services: Blackboard<\/strong>
\nAffected Systems: Blackboard
\nDescription of Maintenance: Blackboard has released an update to the Software Updates module.
\nUser Impact: Blackboard\u2019s Cloud and Social Profile tools may be inaccessible during this time.<\/p>\n

When: 5:00AM – 6:00AM
\nAffected services:\u00a0wise.fau.edu<\/strong>
\nAffected systems: wise.fau.edu
\nDescription of maintenance: The server wise.fau.edu is being upgraded.
\nUser impact: End users will not be able to access wise.fau.edu directly to update either their personal or departmental web pages. This ONLY affects those who connect to wise.fau.edu directly. Those who use omniupdate will be unaffected.<\/p>\n

When: 3:00AM – 7:00AM
\nAffected services: Banner Production<\/strong>
\nAffected systems: Banner FAUP
\nDescription of maintenance: The Financial Aid 8.17.2.2 patch will be installed in Banner production.
\nUser impact: No downtime is expected.<\/p>\n
