\nDescription of maintenance: The goal of this upgrade is to install the latest Blackboard service pack. This includes several security improvements as well as the addition of new features and enhancements to blackboard.<\/strong>
\nUser impact: Blackboard will be unavailable during the upgrade.<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nAffected services: Symantec Desktop Encryption
\nAffected systems: Symantec Enterprise Management Servers (SEMS)
\nDescription of maintenance: The goal of this change is to install new release of Symantec Enterprise Management Server (SEMS) on
\nour VM for Full disc encryption.
\nUser impact: None, Full Disk encrypted machines will continue to function while the SEMS server is down.<\/p>\n

\nDescription of maintenance: FAU\u2019s web base authentication system will be upgraded to provide additional security features such as Two Factor Authentication, improved user session termination and improved reliability.
\nUser impact: Users may need to refresh their browsers and possibly clear their browser cache.<\/p>\n

\nDescription of maintenance: FAU\u2019s web base authentication system will be upgraded to provide additional security features such as Two Factor Authentication, improved user session termination and improved reliability.
\nUser impact: Users may need to refresh their browsers and possibly clear their browser cache.<\/p>\n
\nAffected services: Email spam scanners
\nAffected systems: Ironport
\nDescription of maintenance: We upgrading our email spam scanners to more powerful ones.
\nUser impact: No downtime is expected as the changes will be applied sequentially. Email flow, therefore, should not be interrupted as there will always be one appliance functioning.<\/p>\n
