Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 07\/24\/2014 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:<\/p>\n

\nDescription of Maintenance:\u00a0 \u200bThe following updates will be installed in Banner production: Faculty Advisor Self-Service \u2013 8.5.4 upgrade, Faculty Advisor Self-Service \u2013 8.5.4.1 patch, Faculty Advisor Self-Service \u2013 8.5.4.3 patch, Faculty Advisor Self-Service \u2014 8.6 upgrade, Faculty Advisor Self-Service \u2013 8.6.0.2 patch
\nUser Impact: \u200bThere are no anticipated user\/service impact<\/p>\n

\nAffected Services: VIP document management system
\nAffected Systems: vip.fau.edu\u200b, more specifically, fulltext.fau.edu
\nDescription of Maintenance:\u00a0 \u200bWe are converting the frontend physical server responsible for the VIP document management system to a virtual one to allow for better management and flexibility.
\nUser Impact: Registrar’s office and other groups who rely on the scanned images stored within VIP.\u200b<\/p>\n
