Nov 9 from 3:00am to 7:00am"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 11\/09\/2017 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window.\u00a0 In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:<\/p>\n<p>************************************************************************************<\/p>\n<p>Database Maintenance\u00a0 &#8211; MyFAU<br \/>\nDescription of change: Migrating MyFAU (LUMP on mcoracle) database from Oracle Linux 5 to Oracle Linux 7 and moving from 131.91.20.0 subnet to 10.19.20.0.<br \/>\nDowntime window start: 5:00 AM<br \/>\nDowntime window end: 7:00 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: MyFAU\u200b<br \/>\nAffected systems: mcoracle\u200b<br \/>\nExpected End-user impact: During this time, the MyFAU portal will be unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>*************************************************************************************<\/p>\n<p>Server Maintenance\u00a0 &#8211; OwlDone, SPOT, &amp; OIM<br \/>\nDescription of change: We will be moving the IP for several virtual servers from the old load balancer to the new load balancer hardware.\u200b\u200b<br \/>\nDowntime window start: 5:00 AM<br \/>\nDowntime window end: 6:00 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: OIM, OwlDone and Spot<br \/>\nAffected systems: boc22igdadmp.fau.edu, boc22oimintp.fau.edu, boc22webprod.fau.edu<br \/>\nExpected End-user impact: During this time, maintenance window SPOT, Owldone and OIM services will be unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>*************************************************************************************<\/p>\n<p>Server Maintenance\u00a0 &#8211; Filelocker &amp; Papercut<br \/>\nDescription of change: We will be moving the IP for papercut.fau.edu, and filelocker.fau.edu from the old load balancer to the new load balancer hardware.\u200b<br \/>\nDowntime window start: 5:00 AM<br \/>\nDowntime window end: 6:00 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: filelocker and papercut<br \/>\nAffected systems: filelocker.fau.edu, papercut.fau.edu<br \/>\nExpected End-user impact: During this time, filelocker and papercut will be unavailable. Filelocker users will not be able to access shared files during the outage. Users will not be able to print using the papercut service.<\/p>\n<p>*************************************************************************************<\/p>\n<p>Server Chassis Maintenance\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; SSO<br \/>\nDescription of change: OIT Systems team will be replacing a suspected faulty storage controller on one of our dell server chassis.<br \/>\nDowntime window start: 3:30 AM<br \/>\nDowntime window end: 5:30 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: SSO, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, Network Monitoring<br \/>\nAffected systems: Boca 96 VRTX, BOC96HV01, BOC96HV02, BOC96ESXI01, BOC96ESXI02, boc96dns, dhcpboc1, dhcpboc18, dnsboc1, ldapboc1, ldapboc1-el6, overwatch, shibboleth2p\u200b<br \/>\nExpected End-user impact: During this time, services listed above will be unavailable during the maintenance window.
