Oct 11 from 12:01AM to 7:00AM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 10\/11\/2018 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:<\/p>\n<p>*************************************************************************************<br \/>\nServer Maintenance &#8211; Oracle Identity Management<br \/>\nDescription of change: OIT will be upgrading the Oracle Identity Management (OIM) system from 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.3 (PS3).<br \/>\nDowntime window start: 12:01 AM<br \/>\nDowntime window end: 7:00 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: Password resets, account claiming, Oracle Identity Management (OIM)<br \/>\nAffected systems: OIM servers<br \/>\nExpected End-user impact: During this time, users will not be able to claim accounts or reset passwords.<\/p>\n<p>*************************************************************************************<br \/>\nBanner Maintenance<br \/>\nDescription of change: OIT will be upgrading several Banner modules, such as Student, Faculty Self-Service, and General<br \/>\nDowntime window start: 2:00 AM<br \/>\nDowntime window end: 7:00 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: Banner 8, Banner XE, Application Navigator and Self-Service<br \/>\nAffected systems: Banner<br \/>\nExpected End-user impact: During this time, users may not be able to connect to Banner and\/or Self-Service.<\/p>\n<p>*************************************************************************************<br \/>\nServer Upgrade and Maintenance<br \/>\nDescription of change: OIT will be upgrading the components of several systems to resolve bugs and add support for newer hardware.\u200b\u200b<br \/>\nDowntime window start: 3:00 AM<br \/>\nDowntime window end: 6:00 AM<br \/>\nAffected services: ADFS, Shibboleth, Banner DR\u200b<br \/>\nAffected systems: ADFS, Shibboleth, Banner DR\u200b<br \/>\nExpected End-user impact: During this time, no end-user impact is expected<\/p>\n<p>*************************************************************************************<\/p>\n<p>Server Maintenance &#8211; Oracle Identity Management<br \/>\nDescription of change: Updating e-mail address in Oracle Identity Manager for users that should have an @health.fau.edu address. This is in preparation for the Trusted e-mail go-live. OIM may be slower th\u200ban usual during this time.<br \/>\nDowntime window start: <strong>10\/11\/2018 6:00 PM<\/strong><br \/>\nDowntime window end: <strong>10\/14\/2018 6:00 PM<\/strong><br \/>\nAffected services: Password resets, account claiming, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM)<br \/>\nAffected systems: OIM servers<br \/>\nExpected End-user impact: Please note this change will begin on Thurs. Oct 11 at 6:00 PM and run for a few days. Expected end time is Sun, Oct 14 at 6:00 PM or sooner.
