Parking Permit Update

Students have until Monday, January 20, to update their parking account. During this period, students may park on campus without a registering their vehicle, however all other violations will be enforced. These measures are a courtesy to help you acclimate and transition to the Spring semester. Beginning Tuesday, January 22, we will resume our normal parking routine and enforcement of all parking violations.

Below are some important tips and reminders to avoid receiving a citation.

  • Commuter students: Park in blue lots.
  • Resident students: Park in green lots.
  • Shuttle Services: Parking and Transportation Services provides a free on-campus shuttle service designed to help move people quickly around campus. The shuttle operates every 10 minutes. Arrival times at shuttle stops is available in real-time via the ETA Spot App. The app is available for a free download for Android and iPhone devices.

We have numerous resources and services available. They can be found on our website at www.fau.edu/parking.

The maximum speed limit on all FAU campuses is 25 miles per hour, unless otherwise posted. The maximum speed limit in parking lots is 10 miles per hour, unless otherwise posted.
