Parking and Transportation welcomes Faculty and Staff on July 12th

A summer parking permit is available to all faculty and staff coming back to campus on July 12th. The permit is available on Parking and Transportation’s website – www.fau.edu/parking. Faculty and staff are required to obtain a parking permit to park on campus.

For Faculty and Staff who have already have purchased your 2020-2021 parking permit, no further action is needed. Your parking permit is valid until July 31, 2021.

Below are some important tips and reminders to avoid receiving a citation.

  • Commuter students: Park in blue lots
  • Resident students: Park in green lots
  • Faculty and Staff: Park in red and blue lots

We have numerous resources and services available. They can be found on our website at www.fau.edu/parking.

The maximum speed limit on all FAU campuses is 25 miles per hour, unless otherwise posted. The maximum speed limit in parking lots is 10 miles per hour, unless otherwise posted.

Resurfacing Roadways Scheduled for February 25 through March 1 (Boca Raton Campus)

Weather permitting, resurfacing of some Boca Raton campus roadways will begin Thursday, Feb. 25 through Monday, March 1. All parking lots will remain open but may need to be accessed from a different street. There will be flag people at junctions to direct traffic.

The following areas will be affected:

  • Brevard Court: Thursday, Feb. 25 and Friday, Feb. 26

Parking Lot 22 can be accessed from Indian River Street

  • Indian River Street: Friday, Feb. 26 and Saturday, Feb. 27

Parking Lots 18 and 21 can be accessed through Lot 16

Parking Lots 22 and 23 can be accessed from Palm Beach Avenue

  • Parts of West University Drive: Saturday, Feb. 27 through Monday, March 1

Parking Lot 16 can be accessed from Dade Avenue via Indian River Street
