Since the adoption of Instructure’s Canvas as the FAU learning management system (LMS), Instructional Technologies has focused on expanding our library of instructional tools. These hardware and software systems are integrated with Canvas to facilitate and enhance  instruction and help create content that keeps your students actively learning.

  • Respondus: Create quizzes and tests while proctoring them and securing their integrity.
  • Top Hat: Track attendance and facilitate in-class interaction via your students’ mobile devices.
  • Turnitin: Prevent plagiarism in your course by cross-referencing student papers/assignments against a robust database.
  • WebEx: Create online meetings via a feature-rich, web-conferencing tool that lends itself to groups of any size.
