Starting January 3rd, 2022, the storage periods for cloud recordings made in Webex and Zoom are changing to 180 days. They will be deleted from the cloud after this point.
- For Webex: the cloud storage period is decreasing from 366 days to 180 days.
- For Zoom: the cloud storage period is increasing from 120 days to 180 days. Users can opt-out of receiving email reminders about Zoom cloud recording expiration dates. To do this, follow the instructions in the document linked here.
Cloud recordings on both platforms can be downloaded and saved to Mediasite or other storage options. For assistance with this please reach out to us via this Help Desk Request.
