Spring 2022 is here and the Instructional Technologies team has everything you need to hit the ground running with your Canvas courses. Offering workshops, one-on-one appointments, support requests and other resources, we’ll get you on your way to a fruitful semester. Below are documents, tips and reminders that’ll lead you to a solid starting point for next week.
- Publish your syllabus and your Canvas courses:
- Upload your syllabus (written doc, video) and then publish your course before the first day of classes so that your students get an idea of your course’s work load and expectations.
- You don’t need to have all of your materials finalized before publishing your Canvas course. Selectively publish materials throughout the term by leaving specific modules, discussions, pages, assignments and quizzes in a draft state until you are ready for your students to see them.
