Over the last year Qwickly became one of our most highly recommended tools, offering faculty a hub for making bulk edits to their live courses to save time when managing separate Canvas shells.
Using Qwickly, instructors can post announcements; create assignments, discussions and other content; manage course availability; and send messages to multiple courses at once. This is a great tool for cases when your sections cannot be cross-listed or emergency situations where you need to address the same announcement across courses in a timely manner.
Access Qwickly in three easy steps:
- Sign in to Canvas.
- Click the Account button in the global navigation menu (the button with your profile picture).
- Click Qwickly Course Tools from the sidebar that appears.
You may have to authorize Qwickly to work with your Canvas account, but after that step, you’ll be right along towards optimizing your course management skills.
Here’s a link to a written document providing an overview of all the features that Qwickly offers. We’ve also included a table below with links to videos from Qwickly outlining the steps for each of the available features. Please note that some of the videos below reference Blackboard or other LMSs. This is not a mistake, as Qwickly functions identically across various platforms.
