- Smart recordings with chapters, highlights, next steps, and speech coaching
Meetings
- Smart Recordings – Organize cloud recordings into chapters with generated highlights.
- Meeting Summary – Generate a summary of topics discussed and the next steps without recording the meeting.
Team Chat
- Team Chat Thread Summary – Summarize lengthy threads to catch up on important details at a glance.
How to turn the AI Companion On/Off in Meeting
During your Zoom meeting, as host, you can start the meeting summary by clicking Start Summary and stop by clicking Stop Summary.
When your meeting ends, the summary will take time to process. You will receive an email from Zoom summarizing your past meeting with next steps. Feel free to share the summaries with your meeting members! If you think the summary isn’t accurate, you can make changes to the text through the FAU Zoom Web Portal.
Alternatively, you can adjust your settings in the Web Portal so meeting summaries automatically begin when the meeting starts. If you are joining a meeting, you can request to start a meeting summary and wait for approval from the meeting host.
Will Zoom use your data?
Zoom does not use any of your audio, video, chat, screen sharing, attachments, or other communications like customer content (such as poll results, whiteboard, and reactions) to train Zoom’s or third-party artificial intelligence models.
