Great News! Garage 2 is schedule to reopen on July 1st!
Garage 1 is next up for renovations.
We will be temporarily closing Garage 1 beginning July 1, 2015. Weather permitting it will reopen August 15th. Please use Lots 8 & 7 for alternative parking.

Traffic Advisory & Commencement Ceremonies
Congratulations to our newest FAU Graduates!
Please be advised that there will be some traffic pattern disruption April 30th & May 1st during the Commencement Ceremonies. FAU Parking Service Technicians, FAU Police Officers and FAU PD Community Service Officer will be out to help direct parking and traffic.
Traffic on the Boca Raton Campus will be especially heavy on graduation day, particularly at the Glades Road entrance and along West University Drive. Parking Lot 16, located directly in front of the Student Union, will be reserved for disabled and VIP access for ceremony attendees only. Please note that on graduation day, Lot 16 will be considered a reserved lot and not available for use by permit holders. Parking and Transportation Services and the FAU Police Department are requesting that all staff, faculty and students who work in Buildings Student Support Services (80), Student Union buildings (31 and 31A-E), and Housing (46) park in Lots 17, 19, 20 or Parking Garage One on Volusia Street.
Employees working in buildings 80, 46 and 31 with valid disabled placards will be able to park in Lot 16. Please access the parking lot using the south-east entrance off of Dade Avenue. When approaching the parking lot, please have your disabled parking permit visible for verification upon entry to the lot. Any employee parking in Lot 16 without an ADA placard will be issued a parking citation per the FAU PD including those who arrive early and sneak in.

Do You Need a Permit?
Permits are available online for students, staff & faculty. When you order online, make sure to print out your temporary permit and place it on your dash. The temporary permit does have an expiration date, so make note of it and if for any reason you do not receive your permit in the mail before the expiration date, pop into the office in the Student Services Bldg to get one. Use the cheat sheets below!
Replacement Permits Did you get a new vehicle? Replacement Permits are $15, but if you bring in the old one to the parking office we will replace it for free. bring in the old one.

How Not to Get a Citation
Blue/Green Permit Enforcement Begins January 12, 2015.
Here is your quick reference on the parking rules. Take a moment to read them and #AvoidCitations.
Remember: We have lifted the permit requirements in GREEN and BLUE lots for the first week of the semester. Students may park in any GREEN or BLUE lot without a permit displayed until January 12, 2015.
(Red permit lots, meters, reserved/assigned spaces and all other violations are still enforced.)
New Permits can be purchased online using your MyFAU account.
If you are replacing a permit, bring in the old to the Parking window in the Student Support Bldg. for a free replacement. (If you don’t have the old one the fee is $15).

FYI: In the interest of safety, and to help alleviate traffic congestion in and around the Boca campus, President Kelly has decided to allow early departure from work beginning at noon Tuesday.

- $10 cash lots can be accessed from any entrance (Spanish River and East Glades Entrance which tend to be less backed up)
Kick-off is set for 6 p.m., and our partners at ESPN expect more than 25,000 people will attend the game, arriving throughout the afternoon.
Parking meters in Lot 1 just got more convenient.
In an effort to make things more convenient for our guests, the single use meters in Lot 1 (near Garage 2) can now take Visa & MasterCard as well as coins. You can use coins to buy a minimum of 15 minutes, credit cards can be used to buy a minimum of 1 hour.
Reminder: Meters are not for use by cars with permits. They are reserved for guests to our campus only. If you have a permit on your car be sure to park in the corresponding color lot.
How Not to Get a Citation
Parking Office will close at noon 7/25/14 #MovingDay
Parking and Transportation Services office will close at noon on Friday July 25. The kiosk in bldg 69 and the Information Booth at the Glades Entrance will both be available.
We will reopen Monday in the Student Services Bldg 80. We are so glad to be moving to the center of campus!

Parking Office to Move to Student Services Bldg
In an effort to be more accessible and convenient to the FAU community, Parking & Transportation Services will be moving our office to the old cashier’s office in the Student Services Building (bldg. 80). We hope to be in our new home tentatively by July 28th, (barring any unforeseeable circumstances). Please be sure to follow us on Facebook (FAUParking) & Twitter (@FAUPark) for updates on any changes to our move date.
The Florida Atlantic University Police Department will remain in the Campus Operations Building (bldg. 69), and the self-serve parking permit kiosk currently housed in the lobby of the University Police Department will remain and be continue to be available for use.
Owl Express Pilot Route
We are trying something new!
The Owl Express Shuttle will be providing a “pilot” route. The route will be transporting in a counter clockwise direction. The pilot will start April 21 and run until April 30, 2014, Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Headed Out of State for the Summer Without Your Car?
Out of State Resident Students have the option to leave your car on campus for the summer break as long as you are returning for the Fall Semester 2014.
Please make sure that you have followed all the directions below BEFORE YOU LEAVE in order to legally leave your vehicle on campus and avoid any citations or fees.
• You must be registered for the Fall Semester 2014.
• You must pay the Summer Permit Fee of $32.04. The Summer Permit is Valid from May 5th through August 8th.
• You must park in Lot 28, 31 or 60 ONLY.
We also would also like to suggest that you from the vehicle to reduce any chance of break-ins.
Please remember that Florida Atlantic University is not responsible for anything while the vehicle is parked on campus. Anyone who chooses to leave a car on campus does so at their own risk.
