The Weppner Center for LEAD & Service-Learning is proud to once again offer its annual Holiday Gift Drive to provide gifts for children in need. You can select your Gift Tag to fulfill a child’s gift request by stopping by our office in bldg.SS-8 rm.224, or contact us to schedule an office visit so we can bring the gift tags to you for selection. Owl Breaks (formerly known as Alternative Spring Break) is an opportunity to spend your course/semester Break, serving a community in need. You will travel with other students and staff members to a city within and outside of Florida where you will immerse yourself in service projects and learn about a particular social issue affecting that community. FAU has teamed up with the Palm Beach County Chapter of the American Heart Association and is looking for students, faculty, and staff to be part of our team. The Walk will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Meyer Amphitheater in West Palm Beach. Transportation is provided to and from FAU. Interested individuals should complete our registration form.
