This is a two-hour event dedicated to understanding the requirements and materials needed for a successful application to the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows (SURF-REU) program and similar opportunities during the academic year. The first hour will feature a panel of former SURF interns who will provide tips on how to craft your SURF application and advice on how to have a successful internship. Graduate student mentors will discuss their experience mentoring interns.
