Pumpkin Drop and Physics Carnival

All are invited to watch Department of Physics faculty drop pumpkins off the roof of the SE-43 building to demonstrate common physics principles such as constant acceleration of gravity, terminal velocity, and Newton’s laws.

No-Cost Flu Vaccines for Faculty & Staff

Florida Atlantic Student Health Services is excited to continue our annual collaboration with Florida Atlantic Human Resources to offer a no-cost influenza vaccine clinic for current faculty and staff on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Benefits Fair (Boca Student Union, Live Oak Pavilion). 

Regular and high-dose vaccines will be available.  No appointment is necessary. Please bring your Owl Card and insurance card.
 
SHS is happy to be able to provide flu vaccines to spouses, partners, or dependents (16+ years of age) of FAU faculty and staff.  Spouses, partners, and dependents must provide an ID card for an insurance plan accepted by FAU Student Health Services.  See accepted insurances list at https://www.fau.edu/shs/accepted-insurances/.  Minor dependents must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
