Florida Atlantic University students are invited to participate in the Data Engineering for All of Us Precision Medicine Hackathon, a 24-hour challenge focused on solving real-world healthcare data engineering problems.
During the hackathon, student teams will work with data from the All of Us Research Program, a large national health dataset, to design innovative solutions that support precision medicine and personalized healthcare.
Participants will explore challenges such as:
- Managing massive and complex healthcare datasets
- Designing tools and workflows for secure and efficient data use
- Addressing fairness and bias in predictive health models
- Developing scalable solutions for healthcare data analysis
To help teams prepare, a series of optional Pre-Hackathon Workshops will be held via Zoom from 4:00–6:00 PM on March 20 and March 27. These sessions will feature researchers and industry experts discussing real-world challenges in healthcare data engineering. Note: Zoom links will be shared after registration.
Hackathon Date: Friday, April 3, at 5:00 PM – Saturday, April 4, at 5:00 PM
