Florida Atlantic University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science is proud to sponsor and organize the 24th International Conference on Machine Learning and Applications (ICMLA’25), which will be held December 3–5, 2025, in Boca Raton, Florida. The conference is hosted by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Association of Machine Learning and Applications (AMLA). ICMLA’25 is a premier international forum that attracts approximately 450 participants from academia, industry, and government. The conference showcases leading research in artificial intelligence and machine learning across areas including cybersecurity, healthcare, fraud detection, machine vision, and STEM education. Dr. Stella Batalama, Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science, will provide welcoming remarks on Wednesday, December 3.
Dr. Taghi M. Khoshgoftaar, Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, serves as the Conference Chair and organizer for ICMLA’25. Several additional FAU faculty members are also contributing to the conference. In addition, Dr. Dimitris Pados, Professor, Charles E. Schmidt Eminent Scholar, and Director of the Center for Connected Autonomy and Artificial Intelligence (CA-AI) in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, will participate as a panelist in the ‘AI Technology’ panel. Dr. Fernando Koch, Research Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, will present on Generative Intelligence and Large Language Models.
ICMLA’25 will bring a significant international AI/ML research community to our local area.
