There are many different career paths that students who study languages and linguistics can pursue. The Peace Corps, the FBI and Orange County Schools will discuss the different career opportunities available within their organizations. All majors are welcome.

Resident Students Move-In August 18 to August 23

Resident Students Move-In August 18 to August 23

University Housing for both the Boca Raton Campus and the John D. MacArthur Campus (Jupiter) will be conducting our annual move-in process from August 18-23.  Move-In this year will from 8am-8pm daily. The following areas will be affected during this time:

  • Lot 23 (Red Lot) will be closed until August 23 at 8pm.
  • Lot 28 (All Permit Lot) will have increased traffic as students will be using that for parking/ loading and unloading.
  • Increased traffic at the Glades Rd, and Spanish River Blvd entrances.
  • Increased traffic at the following intersections:
    • Indian River Street
      • Dade Ave
      • Brevard Court
      • Lucie Ave
    • University Drive and 8th Ave
    • Palm Beach State College Drive and FAU Boulevard

We will be using all green lots near the residential halls for loading and unloading during the move-in period. The Green lots will close daily at 8pm to parking in order to prepare for the next day of move-in. Residential Student can begin to park in the green lots after August 23 at 8pm.
