The FAU Diversity Council will host their inaugural BIPOC Welcome Reception to be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. The Reception will take place in the FAU Student Union on the Boca Raton campus from 4-6 p.m. in the Grand Palm Room. FAU faculty and staff are invited to join the Diversity Council to re/build community, have a check-in, and simply, socialize with the BIPOC community.
The three-day summit includes healthcare professionals from surrounding universities and practitioners from the local community such as medical, pharmacy, and dentists, who will provide useful tools post-pandemic. The summit will help guide students in useful skills as they embark on their pathway to becoming the next generation of healthcare providers for the betterment of the community.

The DNA Forensics certificate course is for professionals and non-professional students contemplating a career in biotech, forensic science, criminal justice and other allied life science programs.

From Monday, August 15th through Friday, August 19th, we are offering four bootcamp courses: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Intro to Programming, and Python Programming for Data Science.
The Hispanic/Latina/o/x Initiatives within the Center for Inclusion, Diversity Education, and Advocacy is in charge of putting the press release together and gathering the information for the programs/events that will take place in bringing awareness and celebrating Hispanic/Latina/o/x Heritage during September 15th- October 15th, 2022. As a Hispanic Serving Institution, we are encouraging as many departments/areas to celebrate this student population, no matter how small the gesture may be. If your department/organization is providing any specific programming for this population during this time frame, please provide this information by September 2, 2022 at 8am so it can be finalized.
