Spring 2026 parking ePermits for students will be available starting January 6, 2026, and will expire May 10, 2026. Click here and follow the prompts to register. License plate numbers serve as the vehicle identifier; please be sure all information is correct to avoid receiving a citation. You are allowed up to two vehicles per permit, but only one vehicle may be parked on campus at a time.

The Florida-Israel Institute at Florida Atlantic presents Reimagining Aging: New Frontiers in Brain and Movement Health. The plenary speaker is Anat Mirelman, Ph.D., director of the Aufzien Family Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Parkinson’s Disease at Tel Aviv University, a global leader in movement and aging research. The event will also feature faculty from FAU Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute, the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and the NeuroInnovate Center. Attendance is free and includes complimentary lunch. Registration is required.

Florida Atlantic University is launching an exciting new paid internship program that allows juniors and seniors who have completed a minimum of 60 credits in all majors to gain experience in local government agencies and non-profit organizations. The Civic Owls internship program, funded by the President’s Office, will kick off in Spring 2026 and will be offered every Fall and Spring semester thereafter.

St. Lucie Avenue will permanently close for regular traffic effective Thursday, May 8, 2025. A new road, St. Lucie Ave. Extension, will open in July 2026 and allow through traffic to East University Drive. In addition, the St. Lucie Ave. South shuttle bus stop has been relocated from Parking Lot 102 to the circle at Parliament Hall. Access to Parking Garage 2 is only available via Arts Ave. A pedestrian safety access sidewalk will be installed from Parking Lot 28 to the Parliament Hall entrance (north of the construction site for Talon Hall). Parking Lot 28 is only accessible via Arts Ave.
