Social Distancing is a set of non-pharmaceutical infection control actions intended to stop or slow down the spread of a contagious disease.
Examples of Social Distancing in action are:
- Working from home whenever possible
- Travel only when necessary
- Avoid Social Venues like cinemas and clubs
- Avoid gatherings of large groups
- Restrict visitors
- If you go out in public, maintain a safe distance from others – usually 6-7 feet apart.
