IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 04/14/2011 from 3:00am to 7:00am during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

When: 3:30am – 4:00am BigIP configuration change – no downtime expected

On Friday April 15th between 8:00am and 9:00am CSI will be working with AT&T in regards to the police departments 561-297-3500 line, this will not affect on campus 73500 dialing or 911 emergency calls. In case you need to contact the police department from a cellular or off campus phone please dial 561-271-5163.

The Banner production database will be restarted on Thursday April 14 at 3:00am and expected to be back up at 3:30am. All things Banner production related will not be available.

The Banner test server will also be rebooted at 3:00am and expected to be back up by 3:30am. All things Banner development/test related will not be available.

**Update as of 4/13/11**

We are continuing to restore class recordings, and at the current rate of progress we should have all classes restored by 10 pm today. We are adding more resources to the problem to speed things and are doing our best to have all recordings restored sooner.

**Update as of 4/12/11**

Courses that are recorded by IRM and then made available via the web are currently not available. We anticipate that this week’s courses (from Mon through Wed) will be back online by midnight. We will continue through the night restoring the files, working from the most recent back to the beginning of the semester. We may not be able to restore classes held in the CM building between Feb 16 and Mar 17 because of issues with the backups from that time, but we are using another strategy for getting those courses as well.

We do not yet have an exact time for when all class recordings will be restored other than late tomorrow, but we will be restoring continuously until all recordings are again available.

Courses that are recorded by IRM and then made available via the web are currently not available. We do not yet have a time when they will be back online, but we anticipate several hours.  We had two drives fail, and we are now rebuilding them to restore service. I will update in a couple of hours with the status.

Telephone service has been restored to FAU Police Dept and the Jupiter Campus

We are currently experiencing a problem with phones located at the FAU Police Dept. & Jupiter Campus. We are working to correct the problem. In case of an emergency during this period, the FAU Police Department can be reached at 561-271-5163 by using a cell or other non-FAU phone.
