[RESOLVED] Issue with Split Zoom Meetings

Zoom has resolved the issue causing a very small subset of participants joining a meeting to be split into multiple meetings with the same meeting ID.

Zoom has received reports of issues where participants joining a meeting are being split into multiple meetings with the same meeting ID. They are currently investigating and will provide updates as they have them.

[RESOLVED] Intermittent issues with Pay for Print

**UPDATE**

The issues with Pay-for-Print have been resolved and the system has been restored to full service. All related systems and applications should be functioning as usual.

Canvas users experiencing page errors

Canvas users may experience 502 page errors and degraded performance while viewing documents within Canvas (i.e. using the document preview function). Canvas has found a fix and is working to resolve the issue.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Sept 24 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 09/24/2020 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of change: OIT will be making updates to the UserManagement and ObserverManagement Applications in Canvas

Expected End-user impact: During this time, users of the updated applications might notice a brief disruption at the time of update.​

Description of change: OIT will be upgrading Papercut production from 18.0.3 to 20.0.0 in preparation for migration to the new production environment in October.

Expected End-user impact: During this time, users will not be able to print.

OIM View Modification to change Attended Role for Exit Process
Description of change: When a student withdraws from the university via the Exit Form II, Registrar’s sets the student as inactivated for the future term. This was causing problems with student’s access to Canvas, etc. OIT will make a change to code to fix the attended role to include active registration.

Some users are experiencing a lack of audio with their WebEx recordings. The issue has been reported to WebEx and they are looking for a solution. More information will be posted as it becomes available. Use Zoom as an alternative.

[Resolved] Cisco Webex LTI Outage in Canvas

The Cisco Webex tool in Canvas is now back up and operational. Students and Faculty should be able to access their scheduled Webex sessions through Canvas again.

Students and teachers trying to access the Cisco Webex tool in their Canvas courses are currently receiving a “502 Bad Gateway” error. For the time being, teachers that are holding Webex meetings at this time should find the direct meeting links for their sessions and send them to students who have trouble joining.
