[Resolved] Mediasite Disruption

Sonic Foundry is currently investigating an issue impacting Mediasite Video Cloud. All services may be impacted including, but not limited to live and On Demand playback, Management portal access, and other Mediasite features.

UPDATE: The root cause was found to be DNS resolution issues with the CDN provider. Service was restored after issue was resolved.

[Resolved] Mediasite Degradation

Sonic Foundry is currently investigating slower than normal response times in the Mediasite Video Cloud environment. On Demand and Live playback may be impacted, as well as Portal access and other Mediasite Features.

Mediasite maintenance, Sat Oct 10 1:00am-5:00am

Mediasite will be under maintenance and upgrade Saturday, October 10 1AM-5AM. Extended downtime is not expected, however, the site may be unavailable for brief periods during this time. Content retrieval failed, please try again or notify your system administrator of the error.

Single Sign-On Update

08-23-2020 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm

OIT will be updating the Single Sign-on System to correct a performance issue that was recently discovered. During this window, there will be a short period of time where users receive an error when attempting to login to any single sign-on enabled service.

Single Sign On System Maintenance

The University Single Sign On System will briefly undergo maintenance from 6:00 am to 7:00 am Thursday, August 20. During this period users may be unable to login to Canvas, Workday, Banner Self Service, OwlDone, Google Applications, Office 365, Ezproxy, and other Single Sign On supported services.

If you continue to experience difficulty accessing any services past 7:00 am, please contact the Help Desk at your earliest convenience.

Mediasite Video Cloud Upgrade

Sonic Foundry will be updating Mediasite Video Cloud to the latest release during the scheduled maintenance window on May 30, between 1:01AMĀ and 5:00AM EDT. Extended downtime is not expected. However, Mediasite may be unavailable for brief periods during this time.

[Resolved] Mediasite Playback Issues

[13:05] Service has been restored and SonicFoundry continues to monitor the system

[10:27] SonicFoundry is aware of issues within the Mediasite Video Cloud environment, and is investigating. Users may experience playback issues, issues with live streaming, and inability to log into the Management Portal and other applications.
