OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Jan 21 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 01/21/2021 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description of change: OIT will be making code changes to student interface library to pull additional student attributes from Banner into uAchieve.

Subset of Zoom users unable to see cloud recordings

New incident: Investigating

Zoom is currently investigating an issue where some users are intermittently unable to view their list of cloud recordings in their web portal. The recordings are not impacted or erased. Some users are just unable to see them at this time.

While Zoom works to resolve this issue, Zoom recommend impacted users refresh their browser, which may allow them to see their recordings.

[RESOLVED] Starfish Success Network is not displaying connections

The Starfish system is currently not displaying any connections including advisors and advising offices for students. The problem is being investigated and will update when we have more information.

COVID-19 Health Check-in Update

The Office of Information will be updating the COVID-19 Health Check-in which is displayed when users login to Canvas and Workday. This upgrade will occur at 8 pm and last until 8:15 pm.

While not expected some users may have difficulty logging in and updating their health status during this time. If you have any trouble please try again after 8:15 pm.

[NETWORK OUTAGE RECOVERY] Late Friday Afternoon 4:15 through 5:30

FAU experienced unplanned network connectivity issues between 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. today. Network connectivity has been restored, but OIT may still be working to restore some services that may have been impacted.

UPDATE: The emergency maintenance has been completed and the OIT help desk system is back online.

[Resolved] Mediasite Disruption

Sonic Foundry is currently investigating an issue impacting Mediasite Video Cloud. All services may be impacted including, but not limited to live and On Demand playback, Management portal access, and other Mediasite features.

Sonic Foundry is currently investigating slower than normal response times in the Mediasite Video Cloud environment. On Demand and Live playback may be impacted, as well as Portal access and other Mediasite Features.

Mediasite maintenance, Sat Oct 10 1:00am-5:00am

Mediasite will be under maintenance and upgrade Saturday, October 10 1AM-5AM. Extended downtime is not expected, however, the site may be unavailable for brief periods during this time.
