Zoom – Issues Starting and Joining Meetings

Zoom has received reports of users being unable to start and join Zoom Meetings and Webinars. They are currently investigating and will provide updates as they have them.

[RESOLVED] Starfish Advisor Calendars no longer syncing with Outlook Calendar

UPDATE:

Advisors and staff should now be able to sync their Outlook calendar availability with Starfish again.

 


The calendar sync functionality between Outlook and Starfish is currently not working for advisors/staff. This means the Starfish software will no longer be able to see your Outlook availability when creating your Starfish schedule.  In the meantime, all future unavailable times will need to be added manually in Starfish itself.

This is currently being investigated and we will send an update once have more information.

OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. May 6 from 3:00AM to 7:00AM

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 05/06/2021 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Expected End-user impact: ​The SSO services will be restarted one server at a time so users may experience session errors during this time. WebEx sign-on may experience sign-on issue during this time while the certificate is swapped out.

[Resolved] Zoom: Live transcription services are unavailable

Zoom has resolved the issue causing users to be unable to use Live Transcription services within Zoom Meetings.

Zoom has received reports of users being unable to utilize Live Transcription services within Zoom Meetings. Cloud Recording transcriptions are not impacted. Zoom is currently investigating and will provide updates as they have them.

[Resolved] Turnitin Emergency Maintenance

Turnitin has reported that all systems are back to being fully operational. Turnitin assignments in Canvas should be back to normal.

[Identified] Turnitin Emergency Maintenance

Turnitin Emergency Maintenance is complete. For all customers using Turnitin Feedback Studio, they have restored the ability to submit papers and view similarity scores, access submissions, and use grading tools. Details of student paper matches in the similarity report are not currently available. They are continuing to investigate and working towards complete service restoration.
