Video conferencing services are expected to be down Friday July 22, 2011 from 10:30 AM until 5:00 PM. This includes any videoconference classroom, conference room, auditorium, and desktop MOVI accounts located on all FAU campuses.
We will be performing a planned system upgrade and system testing. No videoconference services will be available during this time frame.

Network: Boca core router changes during maintenance window tomorrow, Friday, 07/22
Boca core router changes during maintenance tomorrow between 6 AM and 7 AM. There might be a brief network outages as we make remove obsolete routes from the router.
Broward Computing Services in conjunction with Networking will perform the following upgrades on July 22, 2011.
Switch upgrades for the Davie Education & Science Building. System affected: internet / network access, telephones for the 2nd floor. Downtime: 8: 00 AM – 5:00 PM
Will provide updates as each floor is completed and back online.
Blackboard maintenance and upgrade is now completed.
The database has been restarted, the current error is resolved and we are attempting to continue the upgrade. If all works correctly we expect a return to service of approximately noon.
Blackboard is currently down, we are working with the Blackboard Support Team to restore service. This post will be updated as more information is available.

Switch upgrades for the Davie library. System affected: Internet for the FAU davie library. Downtime: 8:30 AM 8:35 AM
Although Blackboard is up and you can log in, it is not functioning correctly. We have seen the problem primarily in the Grade Center but are further investigating.
We are working with Blackboard for a resolution, but at this point we do not have a time estimate for resolution.
