Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 02/23/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
What: IDM production database migration
When: 4am-6am
Affected systems: Identity manager and password sync
Description of Maintenance: The IDM production database is being migrated from Solaris to Linux
User impact: Any user who attempts to change their password between this time
What: Network time server migration of boobook.fau.edu and tawny.fau.edu
When: 3am-4am
Affected systems: Any server that uses these time servers.
Description of Maintenance: The time servers are being migrated from Scientific Linux to Oracle Enterprise Linux
User impact: None, they will be done one at a time

Description of Maintenance: We will be applying a patch to the Blackboard servers to fix an error users might receive while looking at evaluation for students.
