The ePrint server is scheduled for an upgrade to version 4.2.1 this Thursday morning between 3:00am – 7:00am. EPrint will be unavailable during this time.

Emergency Maintenance – reboots on all Middleware systems

Due to an unexpected issue brought on by the leap second change on July 1st we must request an emergency restart of all Linux systems running Java to fix broken Java processes on Middleware systems

 

 

When: 7/2/12 8:30:00 AM – 9:30 AM

Affected Services: Blackboard, IDM, Ibiweb Test, CAS, DHCP, NetReg, PhoneBill

Affected Systems: bba[1-6], bbc[1-2], bbm1, bbp10, bbp11, lintalon[0-1], dhcpboc[0-1], dhcpjup1, dhcpdav1, dhcppsl1, dhcpftl1, idm[1-2], idm4p, ibiweb2

Description of Maintenance: We will be restarting all Linux systems which use Java

User impact: Brief interruption of services for ibiweb test can be expected

Banner production unavailable during the Fiscal Year End Roll process this Thursday night from midnight to Friday (June 29, 2012) morning 10:00am

This is a reminder that Banner production FAUP will be unavailable starting today Thursday (6/28/2012) night from midnight to Friday (6/29/2012) morning 10:00am in order to complete Phase I of the fiscal year end roll process.

WebLogic migration to production

The Banner production INB and SSB Web Servers will be migrated from OAS 10g to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (WebLogic) tomorrow morning, Thursday 6/21/2012 between 5:00AM – 7:00AM. Prior to logging into Banner INB or SSB, you will need to clear out the Java cache on your workstation.

The following steps are for clearing out your Java cache:

1. Close down all web browser windows.

2. Go into your workstation’s control panel.

3. In upper right corner of window, select ‘Large icons’ in the drop down options for the ‘View by:’

4. Select ‘Java’

5. In the ‘General’ tab, click the ‘Settings . . . ‘ button in the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ section.

6. Click the ‘Delete Files . . .’ button in the ‘Disk Space’ section.

7. Click the ‘OK’ button in the ‘Delete Temporary Files’ window (both check boxes should be checked).

8. Click the ‘OK’ button in the ‘Temporary Files Settings’ window.

9. Click the ‘OK’ button in the ‘Java Control Panel’ window.

10. Close the ‘Control Panel’ window.

11. Start up your web browser.

WebLogic migration to Banner production next Thursday 6/14/2012

WebLogic will be migrated to Banner INB production next Thursday 6/14/2012 between 3:00AM – 7:00AM. If you receive the following error when attempting to log into Banner FAUP INB, you will need to clear out the Java cache on your workstation.
