Library Network Upgrades on September 14, 2018 at 4:00 am

On Friday, September 14, 2018, between 4:00 am and 6:00 am, OIT will upgrade the network in the FAU Library. This upgrade will cause intermittent interruptions to the network, wireless, and telephones in the Library. Network outage at the Ft. Lauderdale campus (construction fiber cut)

We are experiencing a network outage at the FAU Ft. Lauderdale campus.  A large fiber cable was cut due to ongoing construction in the area.  A fiber repair crew is on site and actively working to correct the issue.

OIT will be performing network maintenance in Jupiter on Monday, May 28 from 11:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29th.  Due to the nature of the maintenance, users may experience intermittent network disruptions lasting approximately 5 – 10 minutes during this window.  The Internet connection will be rerouted to the backup connection to minimize any downtime.
