[Resolved] Blackboard Mandatory Course Entry Survey Not Appearing In Some Summer 3 Courses
All Summer 3 students should now see the Mandatory Course Entry Surveys in all of their courses.

We have rebuilt the DNS server and confirmed all services are working.

A DNS server failed and may be causing decreased networking performance. We have worked around the issue and will update this post when a long term solution is in place.
[Update] Blackboard Service Pack 11 Upgrade
The Blackboard service pack 11 upgrade is taking longer than expected. All servers have been updated to the planned version but we are working with Blackboard support to correct 1 issue, all other reported issues have been resolve.
- Some My Blackboard (Social Networking) features are currently unavailable and users may receive an error when attempting to create a My Blackboard profile.
Please note that at is no risk of any data loss do to these issues.
Blackboard Service Pack 11 upgrade
The Blackboard service pack 11 upgrade is taking longer than expected. All servers have been updated to the planned version but we are working with Blackboard support to correct 3 issues.
- Some My Blackboard features are currently unavailable.
- Some course functions such as changing themes, opening menus and creating content may not work as expected.
- Users may receive the error message: Request/doCourseMenuAction] does not contain handler parameter ‘cmd’. This may be caused by whitespace in the label text.
We are working with Blackboard to resolve these issues and will update this message by 7:30 am.

[Resolved] Intermittent network address resolution
A DNS server may have returned incorrect results between 2 am and 3:30 pm Sunday May 5th. These errors may have caused intermittent issues when connecting to some services such as PRT. The server has been repaired and is behaving normally at this time.
