Resolved – Electrical outage on the Southeast side of the FAU Boca Raton Campus
Engineering and Utilities has notified us that there will be an electrical outage tonight at 11:45 pm. The electrical outage should last for approximately one hour.
This will affect the southeast side of the Boca Raton campus, including the following buildings:

Completed – Network Maintenance Bldg 47 2nd floor, Friday July 1
Friday July 1st we will be doing network maintenance between 4:00am – 7:00am in Bldg 47. This work is to replace the existing network switch on the 2nd floor. Only the 2nd floor will be affected with this work.

Resolved – Storage hardware failure
We have experienced a storage array failure and as a result the following applications have become unavailable:
Graduate admissions application Certain parts of the www.fau.edu website Certain channels/tabs from the MyFAU portal
We are currently working with the vendor to resolve this problem, however, no ETA is available at this time.

Completed – Voice System Maintenance (Thursday June 16th )
On Thursday June 16th from 5:00am till 7:00am CSI will be performing telephone system maintenance and software upgrades to the telephones at the FAU Boca Police Dept. In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-271-5163. At all FAU peer campuses local police can be reached by dialing 911 from a cellular or FAU-phone. On the Boca Raton campus local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.

IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06/9/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window.
