Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 04/19/2012 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:

Description: We will be applying Dean Evans monthly patches for EMS, VirtualEMS, and MasterCalender, apps and databases.
User Impact: EMS will be online, but some user sessions may be interrupted during service restarts.
Network Registration is fully operational once again.
Approximately 71 clients were affected, they have been manually entered to provide access and will be properly entered later today.

The Blackboard database was unavailable from approximately 12-2am on Wednesday, January 11. During that time users may have received intermittent error messages when trying to access files within their courses and in some cases may have been unable to log into Blackboard. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
One of the Blackboard Collaboration servers (BBC1) became unresponsive at approximately 4:11pm today. It has been restarted and Collaboration has resumed proper operation.

When: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM Affected Services: Broward File Services, Broward display software, Broward DFS File Services Affected Systems: brwsrvn01 Description of Maintenance: We will be upgrading DFS links and moving links to a new vm server instance. Service Interruption: Yes, service will be offline for approximately 8 hours.
The Banner database was restarted at 2:05am to clear out stale sessions and reclaim memory . FAU Self-Service is now accessible and users are able to get in to register.
MyFAU is also now running smoothly again as well.
