Apps.fau.edu down for maintenance Tuesday September 22nd 3AM-5AM
Apps.fau.edu will be down periodically on the morning of September 22nd between 3AM and 5AM for hardware patches. During this time access to Citrix remote apps will be limited.
Canvas: “Content retrieval failed” when inserting Mediasite content into Canvas
Content retrieval failed, please try again or notify your system administrator of the error.

[COMPLETED] SSO Maintenance 9/13/2020 at 9:00 PM
OIT will be performing maintenance tonight (9/13) at 9:00 PM to re-enable the health attestation prompt on the Single Sign-On (SSO) screen. There will be a quick restart of the sign-on servers and users may receive an authentication error during this time.
WebEx Recordings
Some users are experiencing a lack of audio with their WebEx recordings. The issue has been reported to WebEx and they are looking for a solution. More information will be posted as it becomes available. Use Zoom as an alternative.
[Resolved] Cisco Webex LTI Outage in Canvas
The Cisco Webex tool in Canvas is now back up and operational. Students and Faculty should be able to access their scheduled Webex sessions through Canvas again.

Students and teachers trying to access the Cisco Webex tool in their Canvas courses are currently receiving a “502 Bad Gateway” error. For the time being, teachers that are holding Webex meetings at this time should find the direct meeting links for their sessions and send them to students who have trouble joining.

Zoom has identified delays in cloud recording processing times. The zoom team is working to resolve the delays, and will provide updates.

Zoom services appear to be restored at this time. Zoom is in the process of applying a nationwide fix and it appears FAU’s service has already been restored.
Zoom sign-in issues
Zoom is experiencing intermittent issues where users may not be able to sign in. Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
Aug 24, 10:58 Update – We are in the process of deploying a fix across our cloud. Service has been restored already for some users. We are continuing to roll this out to complete the fix for any users still impacted.
Aug 24, 09:50 Identified – We have identified the issue causing users to be unable to authenticate to the Zoom website (zoom.us) and unable to start and join Zoom Meetings and Webinars, and we are working on a fix for this issue.
