We experienced a network switch outage that affected one data switch in building 22. The switch outage was from 1:42 pm through 1:47 pm. The issue has been resolved.

Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 1/24/2013 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. Description of maintenance: The above mentioned Banner modules will be upgraded to the specified version in production FAUP (INB & SSB).
User impact: The user may receive a timeout or ‘Page Not Found’ message while connected to Finance SSB or FacADV SSB.
The work at the Jupiter Campus has been completed
On Monday January 21st from 04:00am until 08:00am OIT will be performing maintenance on the VOIP servers at the Jupiter campus. During this time there will be no phone service on any FAU telephone.
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve performance of MS Exchange, on Sunday, January 20 between 3:00 am and 6:00 am additional system will be added to the Exchange cluster. Users will experience intermittent connectivity issues during this period.
On Monday, Jan 21 from 3:00 am to 6:00 am, FAU core firewall will be receiving patch upgrade. This may cause intermittent network outage.

On Monday January 21st from 04:00am until 08:00am OIT will be performing maintenance on the VOIP servers at the Jupiter campus. During this time there will be no phone service on any FAU telephone. In the event of emergency users will have to use a cellular phone or a NON-FAU telephone to dial 911 or the FAU police at 561-271-5163.
Update- Echo360 service has been restored and course videos are now available.

The Echo360 system that serves course video content is not currently allowing logons. We are investigating now and will update this post when service is available again.
This is currently affecting course videos available within Blackboard.
Service Pack 1 for SCCM installation has failed. We are investigating the issue. SCCM has not been altered and is currently operating as it was.
