On Wednesday, June 29th between the hours of 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM CSI will be performing software upgrade maintenance on the telephone system. During this timeframe telephone service will be unavailable to all FAU peer campuses as well Housing and the T-area on the Boca campus.
In the event of an emergency the FAU police department can be reached at 561-271-5163 by using a cellular or other non-FAU phone, and local police can be reached by Dialing 911 from a cellular or other non-FAU-phone.

Completed – IRM Systems Maintenance, Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM
IRM will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deem necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 06/23/2011 from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM during IRM maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
When: 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM Affected Services: Blackboard 9.1 Production Affected Systems: Solaris Zones: BP1 – BBP7 and COLLAB servers Description of Maintenance: The Blackboard 9.1 production servers will be updated with patch to fix an issue with course reporting. The files in the “/usr/local/blackboard/apps/birt/” directory will be replaced with a new file set as provided by Blackboard Support. We have experienced a storage array failure and as a result the following applications have become unavailable:
Graduate admissions application Certain parts of the www.fau.edu website Certain channels/tabs from the MyFAU portal
We are currently working with the vendor to resolve this problem, however, no ETA is available at this time.

Resolved – WISE, FAU’s main web server is unavailable
**Correction – the web server is responding at our DR site thru GTM. Unfortunately this still effects site publishing and pages using MySQL databases hosted on WISE, or CGI scripts that reference wise directly.
WISE & Webnet3 are currently down and systems is trying to get to the root of the issue. Our additional redundant web server (webnet2) is currently answering all www.fau.edu requests so the main site is still viewable.
Please be aware the other services will be effected such as the ability to update pages thru OmniUpdate or LCMS along with various CGI or MySQL forms.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Other Southern campuses may experience intermittent outages. All calls originating from the Davie campus may require dialing a seven or ten digit number for all off campus calls.
