Network upgrade by FLR on 4/8/2012, 6:00am
Starting at 6am on 4/8, FLR engineers will be performing an IOS-XR upgrade on the Miami core node. Based on our lab testing, we expect the node to be unavailable for approximately 10 minutes while software and firmware are updated. The following services will be affected by this maintenance:
FAU Connector: Primary FLRnet
Note that all L2VPNs which use the above circuits will also be affected.

[resolved] Password syncs from MyFAU to Active Directory are not occuring.
Password changes in MyFAU are not replicating to Active Directory. We are investigating the issue.
UPDATE – Systems has restarted the MyFAU LDAP to resolve the issue. Password sync is operational once again.

Network Maintenance Building 08 Thursday 04/05/2012 and Friday 04/05/2012
Networking will be upgrading the network equipment in building 08 Student Services and Cafeteria during the maintenance window 4:00am to 7:00am Thursday 04/05/2012 and Friday 04/05/2012. No service outage during normal business hours is expected.

On Wednesday, April 04, 2012, between 6:00 am and 6:30 am, OIT will upgrade a networking UPS device on the Jupiter campus. This upgrade will cause an interruption to the network connection on the FAU Jupiter campus. Please be advised that calls to or from the Jupiter campus may require dialing a seven or ten digit number during the times listed above. On Tuesday, April 3, 2012, from 5:00am till 7:00am CI will be upgrading the power for the voice system in T-6. During this time there will be no FAU phone service in the T-Area, Building 69, or the Baldwin House.
